Founded in Port Townsend in 1975.
John Nesset started The Undersea Company as a diving and salvage service. The operation expanded with the work: charter, vessel assist, harbor tours, treasure recovery, underwater search, survey, engineering support, towing, and salvage.
The Undersea Company's side scan experience reaches back to the 1970s and has taken him around the world. In 2004, the company added CASCADE—an ex-Port Angeles pilot boat—and rebuilt it into the multi-mission platform at the center of today's operation.

Brother Jonathan gold recovery work and Port Townsend Vessel Assist operation.
Passenger charters and harbor tours aboard Olympas and Zebedee.
CASCADE arrives and is modified for towing, salvage, survey, and dive work.
